Arkansas LOLs

We're about 35 hours away from Kentucky-Arkansas. Should the Cats win, I've got a feeling the hundreds of Arkansas fans who have stumbled into this little corner of the internet (Howdy, Hogville) will never be heard from again... at least until next year when the parade of piss-poor grammar and logical statements such as "Of course our rushing attack is awesome!!! We're 11th in the SEC and 96th nationally!!! Durr!!!!" will once again propagate itself. But since there's pregame chatter left to be had, enjoy....

This garbage is not even worth the pixel space to leave a comment about. Go Hogs!!

Honestly, a KY based blog about college football is talking down to anyone ?? We'll see what your opinions are in 2-3 years, I'm certain of where KY Football will be, are you certain of where the hogs will be ?? Go Hogs

Unfortunately, we don't play the Hogs again until 2012, as they are only one of 3 schools in the SEC we have a winning record against head-to-head.

I'm quite confident that, at that point, their team will be roughly as easy to defeat as Louisville was this year based on the state that Petrino will leave them in...

Ummm... nah, nevermind.

Edge, remember the other day when you were asking me what the definition of irony was. Yeah... this.

But Alan, "anonymous" left a message even though he or she said it wasn't worth the pixel sp... I'm sorry, I'm really having a tough time with this. I need to go get some air.

How about the state the program was In while Petrino was at Louisville ?
I believe he beat you all 4 times he played you, Your basketball team Is top notch and I like Kentucky basketball, It's top notch but If you want to beat the Hogs you better do It this year.
Thanks,
Greg

Hogville is thousands strong and a loss when we're down won't shut us up. Our running attack is getting better each week. Yards haven't been our problem overall. We put up 90+ yards against Alabama even though we were down a lot if points and they are holding teams to around 50 a game. We played Bama, Texas, and Florida back to back to back, have you looked at the polls? We then went to Auburn and shredded a top 10 defense. Sorry your grudge against Petrino won't let you see facts, but I'm guessing you won't be quite as mouthy late Saturday.

Yeah I believe Louisville beat the rat piss out every year when he was at Louisville. Face it, the Music City Bowl is the best you will ever do! Go Hogs!

Yeah I believe Louisville beat the rat piss out of UK every year when Petrino was there. Face it the Music City Bowl is the best you will ever do! Go Hogs!

I guess Kentucky fans can thank Louisville for beating out all the rat piss - it was becoming a real problem. Seriously, I have no vested interest in this game, but all of the sudden I have the urge to root for Kentucky. This is based solely upon the hurried, nonsensical comments and pretzel logic of anonymous posters.

Piss poor grammar such as this awesome sentence from your riveting game preview:

"This looks to be one of this 10 point or so games, not very exciting, probably a lot of punts."

Anonymous said...

How come these Hog homers are posting over here but won't open up the debate over on Hog Heaven (Hogville)?

Seriously, I've been waiting on my confirmation email for about 4 hours to correct some of the erroneous statements on that forum. Such as:

"This is an example of what happens when someone kicks a team silly every time they play."

Kicks a team silly? UK is 3-2 all-time against the hogs (all three wins came against an 8+ win Hog squad) with an average margin of victory of 6 points for the Blue.

Do these guys even follow their own team?

take it easy anonymous. First, that wasn't my post. Second, I said "hurried, nonsensical comments" - nothing about grammar. As in:

1) "This garbage is not even worth the pixel space to leave a comment about"

2) "Your basketball team Is top notch and I like Kentucky basketball, It's top notch but If you want to beat the Hogs you better do It this year."

3) "Yeah I believe Louisville beat the rat piss out every year when he was at Louisville."

Just take a breath, slow down, and try it again.

I think this was referring to your dislike of Petrino.
He pretty much gave
Kentucky beat downs every year he was at Louisville.

Edge

The post that all these comments are in states:

"at least until next year when the parade of piss-poor grammar and logical statements such as..."

This post coming immediately after a post that states:

"This looks to be one of this 10 point or so games, not very exciting, probably a lot of punts."

However, you morons want to make jokes about irony?

1) no one outside of Fayetteville likes Petrino.

2) Petrino had talent at UofL 2:1 over UK. Now that he has both less talent and experience I think we will be very pleased with his arrival in a new shade of red tomorrow evening...

Anonymous, once again, those aren't my posts. At the bottom of every post it names the author.

I (as in Edge, not Alan) am pointing out comments that are nonsensical and appear to be hurried. Are you understanding what I'm saying? Is this getting through at all?

"This garbage is not even worth the pixel space to leave a comment about." And we're the morons?

Edge-

My original comment was not directed at you. I am commenting about the blog posts. I don't care who wrote them. It is ridiculous for one post to call out the opposing team's fans for poor grammar when a previous writing on the same blog has extremely poor grammar.

Are you understanding what I am saying? Is any of this getting through?

ok, gotcha anonymous. Alan, get your shit together. We wear caps and sleeves at this level, son.

The attacks on Petrino and Hogville are getting a little tired, don't you think? Can anyone argue with a straight face that Arkansas would be better off with Nutt at the helm than Petrino? I seriously doubt it.

I'm not gonna stoop to the level of this post. Instead, I will just say that at Arkansas we are very happy to have Petrino and thrilled to be rid of Houston Nutt. With all due respect to the man, he was a bad recruiter, an unethical person, and a coach who struggled to hit .500 in SEC play. Petrino is a winner and the fact that he is 3-3 against the schedule we have played with the lack of talent that we have is amazing. Nutt didn't leave much to work with and yet Petrino is building a winner.

Now that I think about it, it makes sense that Kentucky fans would defend Nutt. You people love mediocrity just as much as he does. Enjoy your third straight Music City Bowl!

I'm sort of disappointed. I always look forward to opponents talking trash about us before a game;however, this is probably the most lacking attack I've seen this season. I'm really not sure who is responsible for the photos, there was a lot of potential with a few of those, and they sort of fell short in the humor column. I know that Petrino doesn't give you guys the fodder that Nutt provided, but c'mon you guys can do better. This is the equivalent of a Hog fan taking a Rich Brooks picture and plastering "OLD" across it. There's not much creativity to that. Yes, we all know Petrino left Louisville. We all know he went to coach for an NFL team and left with three games left. I'm assuming that leaving a college program for a "better" (if you really consider the NFL better than NCAA) gig makes you a snake. Or leaving a crappy, unmotivated, undisciplined group of felon-lovin' thugs makes you a jerk. Maybe it does. Maybe Petrino is an asshole. But he's one badass coach. I'm not sure how out of touch your fan base is, but preaching the virtues of Houston Nutt is just ridiculous. He let you guys come into Fayetteville last year with the absolute best backfield in the country and take a W. So, what exactly about that says Nutt's a good coach? You may or may not win this Saturday. That is yet to be seen. If you do, savor it, it will be your only win over Petrino up to this point and beyond it. Good luck Wildcats. There's always basketball.

Seems Alan loves him some Bobby Petrino. Taking he took the time to write a whole blog about him. And look, he even dug up some pictures and put fancy wording on them. Now does that seem like a guy that really dislikes someone to go to all that trouble and time to fix this nice little blog up for him. Nice Alan. Can you type: GO HOGS!! WPS!!

Anonymous said...

Anonymous, can you type: "Taking he took the time to write a whole blog about him."

Then, read what you just typed. Slow. Down.

I'm an Arkansas fan and I LOL'ed.
To everyone else bitching: why so serious?

strange to be 11th in rushing as a team and have the #1 indivdual SEC rusher I'm sure. I'm calling off the attacks again today. If another of these is posted before the game attacking someone, deservedly or not, hogville will come unglued and even some or the more gramatically correct will come out to play.

The feces throwing contest should end here.

Spell and grammer check if need be. Go Hogs Go
