You're Nobody Till Somebody Loves You

As you may have noticed, we've been plugging away with our one-site hype wagon for Ball State Football. However, with Saturday's win against the Hoosiers, the Cardinals are getting love from more than just me. And like Ricky Bobby said, "You gotta win to get love. I mean, that's just life. Look at...look at Don Shula. Legendary coach. Look at that Asian guy who holds the world record for eatin' all those hot dogs in a row. Look at Rue McClanahan. From The Golden Girls. Three people, all great champions, all loved."

Now before we mess our pants, the problem with polling in general is that it is inherently flawed. You are basically asking people to make an evaluation of teams across the country when their jobs as coaches or media members is to follow one specific team. Having said that, it is nice to see the Cardinals getting some love.
